UPDATE: Fixed by reinstalling the browser extension and rebooting my laptop.

It only works if you uninstall and reinstall the chrome extension. version is seems purely an UI update too or features i dont care about. It looks like 1Password does not see my old browser extension anymore. The best way to experience 1Password in your browser.
In last days I've noticed the extension stopped working and 1Password Mini suggests installing the browser extension.
It helped with the lagging and my browser extension kept working so I was happy. This was suggested on 1Password forums regarding an issue with horrible lagging of the browser extension when using autofill feature. It even worked with 1Password 7.Ībout a month ago I've switched the main 1Password app to updating to beta versions. I've been using the old browser extension for years.
